I'm still alive, and still plan on blogging. I have simply been busy and overwhelmed with everything that is going on in life these days. I am in Korea now and currently deployed to Daegu in support of FOAL Eagle, a defense exercise.
Yesterday me and my counterpart MSgt Marshall went to visit the city of Daegu and experience some Korean culture. We explored two blocks of a restaurant district and settled on a Chinese restaurant. Then we walked around a lake and climbed up a foot hill of Mt. Apsen looking for a Tomb that was noted on our map. After we got to the top (and it was a very steep climb) we found a Korean couple who led us down the easy way to where we started and the tomb was like 30 yards away.
Later we went to Mt. Apsen park, and the coolest part of the day was when a Korean lady came up to witness to me, she struggled with english and I could tell she was nervous. I was so amazed at her spirit in seeking out foreigners to her country to share the good news with. I was able to tell her in korean that God is great. Such a cool expereince.
Hopefully it will not be 2 month's before I have something to blog about again. I'm sure soon I will have more time to read the news and find plenty of stuff to be angry about. ;)
